Los Alamos is a family run business and as such you will be treated as one of the family. Our aim is to create an unforgettable experience, with great riding, in a perfect riding environment, fun packed days and lively evenings. Whether you are single, a couple, or in a group, you will be warmly welcomed. The price of your holiday includes first class villa accommodation, all drinks and meals and a fabulous day trip to the famous Royal Equestrian School at Jerez.

Destination Profile: If you love to horseback ride through beautiful scenery, canter along deserted, golden sandy beaches and explore miles of sweet smelling natural pine forest, then we have the best horseback riding holiday for you. Los Alamos sits on the edge of a spectacular natural park on the Atlantic coast of Andalucia. We are surrounded by 5000 hectares of umbrella pine and eucalyptus trees, giving a unique fresh aroma. Forest stretches out along the hills and cliffs, offering stunning views over the African coast, while then opening out on to the unspoilt sandy beaches surrounding Cape Trafalgar. The going is excellent, with long sandy tracks and firebreaks that weave their way through the trees and wild flowers. Here you have the opportunity for long collected canters and exhilarating gallops. Your stay is in the luxury Los Alamos villa, situated in a beautiful secluded spot two miles inside the national forest. The Villa complex is set in its own grounds, with a private swimming pool, bar and terraces. A real home from home.
About the horses: Our horses are mainly Andalusian and Spanish-Arab cross, 14.2hh to 16.2hh. We also have two beautiful, sturdy Welsh cobs, Polly and Careta that can carry up to 100Kg. The horses are well schooled and know the terrain well; English saddles and tack are used, we also have Spanish and Portuguese tack.
